The Land of the Blind
A 68’ documentary directed in 2015 by Patrice Robin
Blindness. Whether total or partial, the protagonists of this film live with it. Their lives, like the journeys they undertake daily, are often something of an obstacle course.
This documentary lays bare their acts of rebellion, but also their resignation, faced with a generalized indifference. It is concerned to show the way they judge their situation and their role in society.
Like a mirror, The Land of the Blind evokes the way we view others, the way we interact with others, and how we consider others in relation to ourselves.
